“Bridge The Gap has considerably helped my son with Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Using PROMPT and other apraxia specific strategies, he grew from a few single words to now speaking several different sentences. I'm confident that Bridge The Gap will continue to help him grow, learn, and ensure he is able to speak to the best of his ability. The staff is kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. We're so thankful we found them."

"Lauren and the whole staff have helped me and my family so much! My 4 year old son struggled with communicating his basic wants and needs. After an evaluation and therapy sessions, I have seen so much improvement. He is making so much progress."
We're Proud to Serve the Roswell, Woodstock, Canton, Alpharetta, Marietta, and Sandy Springs areas!
STAFF CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING
Being "certified" means holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), a nationally recognized professional credential that represents a level of excellence in the field of Audiology (CCC-A) or Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Those who have achieved CCC—ASHA certification—have voluntarily met rigorous academic and professional standards, typically going beyond the minimum requirements for state licensure. They have the knowledge, skills, and expertise to provide high quality clinical services, and they actively engage in ongoing professional development to keep their certification current.
The Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA) is an accrediting and certifying body dedicated to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards for the practice of the Orton-Gillingham (OG) Approach for the treatment of dyslexia. OG is an approach that prepares the practitioner to individualize instruction to meet the specific needs of each learner.
